台中盆地的水文對城市市民的意義為何？現代人對都市河川的看法和感情又是什麼呢？相較於被規劃過的都市河川，觀察近似野溪狀態的筏仔溪、鎮平溪與劉厝溪，或許我們得以窺見河川真正較具野性的活力。
Since rivers in cities have become safer and easily-managed, water is drifted apart from human lives. Only those streams which still keep wildness and vitality, are able to spread out the close relationship with human being.
